On Monday, Kyle and I both had the day off, so we went to the ZOO! We love, love, love the zoo and luckily every time we go to a new one, it seems to have healthy, happy animals, which is always a relief. The mega low-budge Richmond, VA zoo, where we went yesterday, was no exception!
Our pictures mostly consist of giraffes and budgies, the biggest and smallest animals in the zoo (no elephants in sight, sadly!).
The budgies loved Kyle's boots! I didn't notice the tiny bird nibbling on his boot loop until I got home and looked at the photos. Is this not the cutest thing in the world?:
This strutting peacock seems like the perfect photo to end this post with. He roamed the grounds of the zoo, taunting the monkeys and eliciting screeches from their cages every time he smugly strode by. They hated him! It was great!
