I would wear a dress every day if I had enough to go around. Spring clothes make me more excited than any other season because they mark such a dramatic shift. There's something so freeing about being able to shed all the layers of winter and step out of the house without the fanfare of having to get bundled up. The lines between indoors and outdoors fall away and we move between the two without much thought. That's one of the things I've always loved about spring: when the indoor and outdoor temperatures meet up. We don't need to cool down or warm up and life becomes a little less complicated and a little more joyous. Spring awakening.
If I could add anything to my wardrobe right now in celebration of spring, these three dresses would be it!
The Schuyler Candy Wrap Dress from J. Crew Factory. The way the stripes fall on the bodice is just perfect. And those colors! That deep, moody blue just makes it.
The Roseblossom Songbird Dress by Madewell. Oh, how beautiful. Making a little geometric graphic for this dress was fairly torturous, because it's no longer available in my size. I had to stare at it for too long, pulling its beautiful colors together, which of course made me fall in love with it all over again. Unrequited love, I suppose!
The Minutiae Dropwaist Dress by Anthropologie. I love the drop waist and can't get enough of that orangey-red. It's slowly crept up as one of my new favorite colors. The rainfall of polka dots make me happy every time I look at this dress.
Is there anything you have your eye on for spring? I'd love to hear! I hope you're having a wonderful Thursday!
