We spent an evening this weekend in a little clearing on the Blue Ridge Mountains. Watching the sunset, taking a few photos as the sky turned shades of purple and pink and dusky gray. Breathing in an air clearer than that of any place I've ever lived. Marveling at how fast the sun seems to fade once it hits the horizon. Sipping some wine out of little paper cups. Falling more and more in love with this breathtaking view, in this part of the world that we are so lucky to call home. Enjoying the silence. Enjoying each other.
