Just a little glimpse of my everyday jewelry, in my little bunny dish. I'm not a big jewelry wearer, though I do love it. I'm a huge admirer of bold and dramatic costume jewelry, but in my daily life I tend to stick to a few simple basics: my wedding rings and a simple gold necklace. I wear one of three little gold animal necklaces every day. I bought them at J. Crew over a year ago and am still just head over heels for them.
I'm a gold girl. Yes, I'm aware that my wedding rings are not gold. Back when Kyle asked me what style I might like, I made what I thought was a "safe" decision at the time and opted against yellow gold. I really do kind of regret it. But I still love them. How could I not? They represent the biggest, simplest, most important thing in my life.
I got my ears re-pierced last summer after letting them close over a few years earlier. I still have the starter studs in my ears because I cannot get them out for the life of me. The backings must be cemented on. I've been trying for eight months and have attempted every trick possible, short of yanking the backings off with pliers. This may have to be my last resort...
